About Canine Massage

Canine massage is a hands on therapy which helps to rehabilitate injuries, relieves aches and pains from the wear and tear of daily life, provides natural pain relief from conditions like arthritis and keeps your dog in great condition for sporting activities. I use a range of techniques from Swedish, Sports, Deep Tissue and Myofascial Release disciplines of massage, so I can adapt my approach to whatever your dog needs from their treatment.

The effects of ageing often happen gradually over time, and because we see our dogs every day we don’t notice it. And our dogs are amazing at hiding pain so the signs are subtle rather than obvious.

Ageing is inevitable but slowing down and pain doesn’t need to be. Even if you can’t see obvious signs of pain, if your dog has never had any treatment or it’s been a while, it’s worth getting them checked out. Early treatment stops small problems becoming chronic niggles which are harder to resolve. And often it’s not until you see your dog enjoying their walks again and bouncing out of bed that you realise how much they had slowed down.

Even if your dog is young and fit rather than a golden oldie, they can still be hiding niggling problems and massage can identify and solve these early, and keep sporting dogs in great condition too.
